The less explored Lungchutse hiking trail offers a whole new adventure, its is like walking through a mysterious ridges and blissfully untouched natural grandeur, it opens endless opportunity to take pictures of beautiful landscape ,birds and different varities of wild mushrooms and plants.
Lungchutse Goemba hike is all about shooting photos of nature at their best. It is one of the most rejuvenating and picturesque hike. The trail will take you through a diverse forest of hemlock, birch ,rhododendrons and junipers and large meadow, where yak herders camp in winters, until you reach the temple on the mountain top. On a clear weather day, you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the Himalayan ranges like MT.Jumolhari(7314),Masang Gang(7158),Zhongophu Gang-table mountain and Gangkhar Puensum (7529m) the highest peak in Bhutan. You can also see Gasa Dzong ,as a tiny white speck in a sea of green almost 50 Kilometers to the north. The whole effects is a photographers delight. While returning ,you can take alternative trails that leads to Hongtsho and Tashigang Goemba ,yet another hidden gem ,which offers endless opportunities for landscape photography.
